Success
So, it was a success. I'm really pleased with how the party turned out, for those of you who were just DYING to know. :) I had about 11 people come, and it was a lot of fun. The funniest story though...I invited this lady from work who is super nice. She said she would come, I gave her the address and all that stuff, but she never showed up. --That didn't bother me cuz I know people get busy and whatnot, but I have to admit I was a little surprised. Well the next day at work she told me about why she didn't make it...so she got almost all the way to my house by memory and when she couldn't remember anymore she went to find the print off she had made of the directions, etc. and couldn't find it! She literally went one street above and below my house knocking on doors trying to find me!!! Talk about dedication!! I felt so bad! Apparently I'm pretty famous in the neighborhood now. :) I had a feeling at work the day of the party that I should ask her for her phone number...now I wish I would have!

Anxious, etc.
I just want to mention how excited/anxious I am for my little pary tonight. I put a lot of work into and I really hope it pays off. You never know who is really going to show up until the party's on...so we shall see. I put out a lot of invitations and have had some good responses so far.
I seriously have not been able to sit still at work. If I could have, I would have just taken the day off of work! I still feel like there is so much I need to do. But I stayed up pretty late last night getting everything together, so there shouldn't be too much when I get home from work that I'll need to do.
My roommate said she'd be making some cookies...I hope she did! Those alone should attract a huge crowd ;) Well, wish me luck.

So I'm really excited about the Open House on Wednesday. I just placed an order on Thursday night and I'm really hoping that my stuff comes in time. We're going to be making some really cute things. I hope people come! I know of at least 8 that said they'd come...and there are still more I haven't heard from. I'll let you know how it goes.

Stamp
STAMP IT UP!
Hey there! I just became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and I'm pretty excited about it I know, I know, you think all that stamps are good for is making cards and that's lame right?...wrong. I started making cards because I wanted to help out my friend who had also just become a demonstrator. The first few times I went to her 'Hostess Club' I sucked! I kept stamping stuff upside down, and crooked, it was a mess. But I started really enjoying it and I got a LOT better. I started thinking of all these great opportunities to make cards for people (which is something I didn't think I'd do). It's great to get your visiting teaching done, if someone got a new job, had a baby, birthday, you get the picture.
I also learned that you can do so much more than just make cards. There are all SORTS of great projects you can make, that are really fast and easy. Check out my website www.meggandyreng.stampinup.net and check out all the cute stuff!
For those of you who still aren't conviced you would be good at, or enjoy stamping, we have a super cute line of new vinyl wall items that can be used as great gifts too. So check out the site for the whole line.
If you're interested in having a workshop, just let me know! They are really fun and we make some great make and take items.
Also, I'm having an Open House on Wednesday October 22 from 6:00 - 8:30pm at my house. Please email me for the address and/or directions.
